-They are the size of a large dog when born and develop rapidly over the first few years.
-The mane is fully developed at only a year old. Males have larger manes than females.
-Only the males develop horns.
-All have four eyes. It is rare but not impossible for them to have two sets of bi-colored eyes. One set is fairly uncommon.
-They have a deep chest and a much thinner waist, although they have a straight back.
-The long, heavy tails have metal-like attachments on the end that grow with them.
-They have natural coloured base layers and brightly (yet still natural) coloured markings. For example, Tick is a gray color with bright green markings. (Bright green like a tree frog) It is almost impossible for them to not have markings.
-Their blood is the color of their markings.
-Instead of sweat glands they have poison glands.

Tick is very childish, she hates loud noises but she knows how to defend herself in a life threatening situation.
